FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/31/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Not many games on the slate and you can be sure that the everyone has their eyes set on the Celtics-Raptors matchup. There are not many games lined up to be high scoring, so feel free to reach for value in any of the games tonight. The minutes and lineups this late in the season are always more inconsistent and you need to know the situation of each team. Now that I think about it, i'll work on a piece for Monday outlining what teams and players you should target for DFS here on out.

Before I get too sidetracked, here are the must-plays. Goran Dragic, POTENTIALLY DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant and Andre Drummond. Dwight Howard has the chance to have another monstrous game today, so if you are running with the All-Day slate, roster Howard over Drummond.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/31/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Frank Mason III - PG, vs. GSW ($4,000)

Frank Mason posted what should of been the king of duds two games ago, but he salvaged his poor shooting by contributing in just about every other category. The Warriors are still lacking their true firepower and not that the Kings still have much of a chance, but Mason has been improving more and more as the season goes on. His scoring is still having it's usual struggles, but he's been really effective elsewhere and is one of the few cheap options at point guard tonight. If you can afford an extra 1K then look at Fred Van Vleet.

Wayne Ellington - SG, vs. BKN ($4,200)

Luckily Wayne Ellington hasn't seen a big dip in minutes although his production the past three games has been rough. As the primary shooter on the Heat, the team always wants him to hit shots early and scoring below 10 points in three straight games means the second he steps on the court today, they will be looking to feed him. Against the Cavaliers, what should have been an ideal matchup for Ellington, he only posted six points on five shots. Ellington needs a rebound game and although the Nets rank 9th against opposing shooting guards, Ellington is borderline matchup proof when he starts hitting shots.

Also Consider: Patrick McCaw - SG, at SAC ($3,500)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Dwayne Bacon - SF, at WAS ($3,500)

It's hard to roster Dwyane Bacon strictly of his skill set, but his minutes directly translate to stats and that's becoming clear every game he get's close to 30 minutes. Before you say, "what are you talking about? He's not producing." Remember his price is basement level so he has a very low glass ceiling that he can easily break through. He goes after rebounds and his athleticism gives him a slight advantage as a smaller forward over the guards that line up against him. While the Hornets finish out this season, Malik Monk and Bacon should be the top two producers here on out.

Markieff Morris - PF, at WAS ($5,900)

The Wizards and Markieff Morris should be on the back end of the season and giving the starters more rest, but it's pretty evident Morris' usage hasn't really changed. He offers just about the same stat line each night and is dependent on points and rebounds for production. The Hornets are just in the bottom half of the league when it comes to guarding power forwards and Morris is an ideal stretch four. If anything, Morris has actually improved his production as the season has come to a close and he should have no problem extending his double-digit scoring efforts to five straight games.

Also Consider:  Draymond Green - PF, at SAC ($8,600); Allen Crabbe - SF, at MIA ($4,600)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside - C, vs BKN ($7,500)

Granted, Hassan Whiteside minutes fluctuate pretty badly as it is, combine it with his already spotty game log and you have a recipe for disaster wrapped in a $7,500 price tag. Not exactly what you want to read, but if you look at it from the opposite direction, he should go highly unowned tonight. The Nets basically lack a frontcourt and Whiteside needs nothing more than space and a few minutes to produce, so if he plays, which he should, Whiteside is a go-to player tonight. Like previously stated, his price is a little high, but if he has anything close to his normal production it's worth it. This is a pick for the risk-takers but it should also lead to a nice payout.

Also Consider:  Aron Baynes - C, vs TOR ($3,600)
