FanDuel DFS Tennis Picks - Front-Runners
RAFAEL NADAL ($4)
Opponent: Jannik Sinner
Nadal, the 12-time champion at this tournament, has looked absolutely dominant through his first four matches at the 2020 French Open, and he will try to advance to the semifinals in Paris for the 13th time in his career as he takes on 19-year-old Jannik Sinner, who defeated No. 6 seed Alexander Zverev, in the quarterfinals on Tuesday. Prediction: Nadal in 3 sets
ELINA SVITOLINA ($3)
Opponent: Nadia Podoroska
Svitolina is the only remaining player from the top half of the women's draw with experience at this stage of a Grand Slam, as the 26-year-old from Ukraine made the semifinals at both Wimbledon and the US Open in 2019. Svitolina is the favorite to advance to her first career semfinal appearance at the French Open, but Podoroska (21-3 record on clay) has played at a very high level all throughout the 2020 season. Prediction: Svitolina in 3 sets
IGA SWIATEK ($4)
Opponent: Martina Trevisan
Swiatek defeated No. 1 seed Simona Halep in assertive form to advance to the French Open quarterfinals for the first time in her career, and the 19-year-old will have a chance to build on that impressive result against Italian qualifier Martina Trevisan on Tuesday. Swiatek comes in as the favorite after her victory against Halep, a former champion at this tournament. Prediction: Swiatek in 2 sets
FanDuel DFS Tennis Picks - Dark Horse
DIEGO SCHWARTZMAN ($2)
Opponent: Dominic Thiem
Schwartzman's success in Rome has translated into the final Grand Slam of the season as he is yet to drop a set heading into Tuesday's quarterfinal clash against No. 3 seed Dominic Thiem. Schwartzman's latest victory against Thiem came on the clay in 2019, while Thiem picked up the victory in their only other meeting on the clay last year. Schwartzman's high level of play can guide him to his first-ever semifinal appearance at the French Open if he can take advantage of the on-court time difference between himself and his opponent, who spent close to four hours in a five-set battle to get through the fourth round. Prediction: Schwartzman in 5 sets
