Sadly, baseball is nearing an end, and fantasy managers in daily leagues, no doubt, already have holes to fill with streamers. Fortunately, RotoBaller has you covered with daily fantasy baseball streaming picks.

Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in fantasy baseball daily leagues. Additionally, these recommendations can be helpful for fantasy managers setting MLB DFS lineups. 

We have a 12-game slate Thursday, with a double-header. Fortunately, there are quite a few streamable players, with 24 teams taking the field. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Hitter Streamers for 8/5 - Shallow Leagues

Mitch Garver (C, MIN) - 35% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Framber Valdez

Garver has been a tremendous source of power from the backstop position when healthy. Even with some scattered playing time due to those nagging IL stints, Garver touts a 17% barrel rate and .519 xwOBAcon. The main wart to his game is a 29.8% K-rate that he masks by slugging 12 balls over the outfield fences. Lastly, Framber hasn't quite been himself lately and has been erratic with his command. Perhaps he loses one over the plate for Garver today.

Myles Straw (SS/OF, CLE) - 44% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Ross Stripling

If you're chasing a specific need, like stolen bases, Straw is the play of the day. He's already swiped 18 SB on the season since joining Cleveland less than a week ago. On top of being an SB-maven, he provides a sneaky good batting average by spraying back knocks to all fields. However, those shots are pretty hollow as his hard-hit% sits at 24.5% with a .309 xwOBAcon.

Ian Happ (2B/3B/OF, CHC) - 36% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Antonio Senzatela

Before you send pitchforks to my door and hatemail to my inbox, keep in mind that this game is in Coors Field-a place where anything can HAPPen. Now, Happ has been a disaster(.177 batting average, 11 HR, .620 OPS). Overall, just not the leap many expected but also partly why he is on 64% of waiver wires. Grabbing Happ is HR hunting because he faces a weaker SP in a superb hitter's park and carries an 8.1% barrel rate. We are hoping for lightning in a bottle for today.

Garrett Hampson (2B/SS/OF, COL) - 37% rostered

Matchup: vs. RHP Jake Arrieta

Ok, we are sticking with Coors Field hitters again. Yes, that's exactly how important it'll be to select streamers from that game today. First, Hampson is a rare breed of speed with some power that can stuff a stat sheet like crazy if things work out. He touts the 99th percentile sprint speed that's helped translate into 14 SB on the year. Hampson has been relatively unlucky as far as the power because he only has six HRs but 13 barrels on the season. Maybe the luck regresses in a positive direction today, and he puts up a monster day.

Hitter Streamers for 8/5 - Deeper Leagues

LaMonte Wade Jr. (OF, SF) - 14% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Merrill Kelly

Wade is back in the lineups after sitting out with lower back tightness, which is good news for the first-place Giants because they think pretty highly of Wade Jr. In fact, they love his bat so much they stick him in the leadoff spot against any RHP. Against RHP, he is slashing .274/.359/.616 with a .976 OPS, including 13 dingers. If we are honest with ourselves today, I might even stream Wade Jr. over Happ or Hampson.

Bobby Dalbec (1B, BOS) - 12% rostered

Matchup: @ LHP Tarik Skubal

Dalbec is one of Boston's mighty platoon bats. This is even more apparent in Dalbec's profile as he showcases a .259/.293/.491 slash line with .784 OPS-which is significantly higher than against RHP. Additionally, he carries a 17.3% barrel rate which will come in handy against Tarik Skubal, who can't stop serving up HRs(8 HRs allowed in the last 22.2 IP)-yikes! It might be a perfect spot for finding a streaming HR.

Pitcher Streamers for 8/5 - Shallow Leagues

Joe Ross (SP, WAS) - 27% rostered

Matchup: vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Ross is showing a 3.91 ERA over 96. IP with a 24.3% K-rate. He is finding worlds of success from a slider he throws 31% of the time. That pitch generates a 16.6% SwStr% and 30.7% CSW, which is elite! He will continue to pound the four-seamer in the zone for early strikes and lean heavily on the slider for whiffs. His matchup is tougher for strikeouts since Philly only carries an 18% K-rate vs. RHP in the last two weeks. However, if Ross gets command of that slider, he has shown the opponent doesn't matter. Plug him in; maybe he carries Washington and your squad to a victory!

Pitcher Streamers for 8/5 - Deeper Leagues

Braxton Garrett (SP, MIA) - 2% rostered

Matchup: vs. New York Mets

Garrett is a challenging deeper streaming call. He is getting a call-up from the minor, but his last outing looked terrific. Garrett dazzled the mighty San Diego Padres by striking out ten batters while only walking one. His seven innings with two earned runs earned him a quality start. The Marlins have no reason to limit Garrett's innings, and we could see quite a long leash on today's outing. Fingers crossed, he doesn't give up the longball and gives us 5-6 strong innings with many Ks.
