BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 12% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Colorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra is now playing in his 10th MLB season, and he's having arguably the best season of his career. He has a .304/.342/.427 slash line with 31 runs scored, 36 RBI, six stolen bases, and five home runs on the year. While his 4.9% walk rate is poor, he possesses a very solid 16.4% strikeout rate. Taking a look at his last 14 games, Parra has been on an absolute tear. During that span, he's hit for a robust .395 average, .432 on-base percentage, and has chipped in two home runs and 17 RBI. Last year, Parra held a .309/.341/.452 slash line, adding 56 runs scored, 71 RBI, two stolen bases, and 10 home runs. Based off of those stats, combined with his to-date production this year, Parra is absolutely a player worthy of fantasy consideration in 12+ team and NL-Only leagues. He'll help you out in batting average, on-base percentage, and runs scored, while also possessing double-digit home run and stolen base upside. Oh, and did I mention he plays half his games at the prodigious hitters-park that is Coors Field? Though he has hit markedly better on the road this year, any hitter with an everyday role on the Rockies deserves a hard look. Projection sites have Parra finishing with a .294 batting average, 10-11 home runs, 10-11 steals, 58-63 runs scored, and 65-69 RBI.
