Jimmy Graham (TE, CHI) - Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues

ROSTERED: 5% of Leagues

ANALYSIS: Last season, playing for Green Bay, Jimmy Graham's fantasy outcomes were all over the table. He had days of multiple targets and putrid scores, and others in which just a few passes allowed him to rack up goodies in bunches. For any other-position player, that'd be worrying, but for a tight end that's something to expect. Graham opted to return for his age-34 season, only he's now part of the Chicago Bears and playing under Mitch Trubisky instead of future HOF Aaron Rodgers.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers received five total writing awards and 13 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, tops in the industry! But the change of quarterback doesn't seem to have affected Jimmy that much. Graham put on a 11.5 PPR-point performance in Week 1 catching three passes on seven targets by Trubisky (nothing surprising that low accuracy...). Although he could only reach 25 yards, Graham still did what he was a beast at earlier in his career: scoring touchdowns. He entered the end zone in possession of the rock once, which boosted his fantasy score and helped him finish as the TE12 through Sunday's games.

Graham's main competition will be that of rookie tight end Cole Kmet, a second-round pick this past offseason. But Graham is fresh off signing a large $16M deal with Chicago and is expected to be the TE1 of the Bears all year long. The quarterback situation won't help, sure, but he's a reliable tight end with scoring prowess and he should get plenty of end zone looks.
