Jorge De La Rosa isn’t going to surprise anyone at this point. He’ll be the 35 year old stalwart in the Rockies rotation who should be good for a 4 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 140 strikeouts if health holds (which he's had issues with in the past). These are the overall numbers, as his past two years have pretty much resembled that line. I’d point to his home/road splits, as he had a 5.40 home ERA versus a road ERA of 3.26 in 2015, except in 2014 his splits were flip flopped!
2014 saw him post a 3.08 home ERA and a 5.09 road ERA. 2013? He had a 2.76 ERA at Coors versus a 4.19 road ERA. I wouldn’t recommend getting cute here. He is not a top end pitcher and won’t carry your squad, but in deeper leagues he is a serviceable arm to play in plus matchups against sub-par teams. If you need cheap strikeouts he is a name to keep an eye on.
