We get a 3 game slate featuring two games from the LCS and one from the LEC. With it only being a 3 game slate I will only be providing analysis on one play per position and providing a secondary option.
Today I'll be bringing you my top League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for the slate beginning on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 6:00 PM EST. You can check me out on Twitter @nolanroth10 and follow me for more LOL content!

- Cloud9 (-150) vs. Evil Geniuses
- Misfits vs. Fnatic (-135)
- Immortals vs. TSM (-250)
Captain
Upset - FNC: Upset is the most expensive player on the slate so he isn't the easiest player to fit in as captain, but he is very worth it. He had a 29.3% kill share during the split and followed that up with a 32.5% kill share during their first playoff series against Vitality. Fnatic did lose both games to Misfits during the split so there is a bit of caution here but Fnatic has the highest upside of all the teams in games they win.
Secondary Option: Bwipo - FNC
TOP
Impact - EG: EG are the underdogs in this series but they have looked good in the playoffs so far, taking 100T to 5 games in their last series. Impacts $6200 salary on DK is a nice value in a series that the majority will have C9 to win.
Secondary Option: Huni - TSM

JUNGLE
Bwipo – FNC: Bwipo led Fnatic in kill participation at 68.7% during the summer split and followed that up by leading Fnatic again with a kill participation of 79.2% against Vitality. He was also second to Upset in Kill share at 28.6%. We just saw Rogue jungler, Inspired absolutely dominate Misfits last week, and while Bwipo isn't quite as good as Inspired, he is more aggressive which leads to more kill opportunities.
Secondary Option: Spica - TSM
MID
Jizuke - EG: Jizuke's matchup against Perkz isn't an easy one, however, we have seen Perkz have some games where he racks up the deaths. Jizuke is an aggressive mid laner and is willing to die to finish off kills. Through EG's 8 playoff games, he is second in both kill share and kill participation. EG went 3-0 against C9 this split and Jizuke was a combined 11-6-17.
Secondary Option: Nisqy - FNC, PowerOfEvil - TSM
ADC
Upset - FNC: If you cant afford Upset at captain, get him in here.
Secondary Option: Danny - EG: Danny leads EG in kill share and kill participation in the playoffs. Danny and Jizuke are the most important pieces of EG and we should see Danny on carry champions going forward.
SUPPORT
Hylissang- FNC: Hylissang was my favorite support to play on most slates throughout the split. He is super aggressive and is constantly looking to engage in team fights. Hylissang hit the 10KA+ bonus in all 3 of Fnatics wins the last series. He has the highest upside of any support on the slate.
Secondary Option: SwordArt - TSM
TEAM
TSM: TSM is a really good team and is 5-0 in games against Immortals in both the summer and spring splits. The two other matchups will be tight and I could see them going to 5 games, however, it wouldn't shock me to see TSM make quick work of Immortals. In the summer split, TSM was second in the LCS in dragon control and first in baron control so you know they are going to score well. To make it even better Immortals were under 50% in both categories.
Secondary Option: FNC
Final Thoughts
The FNC/MSF and EG/C9 series' will likely be the two with the highest kill totals, so those are the games we want to attack in our lineups. TSM are the biggest favorites of the 3 matchups but are a much slower-paced team and often finish with lower kill totals. The losing team in all 3 matchups will be eliminated from the playoffs.
