Home Run Derby Contest
Aaron Judge, DJ LeMahieu, and Anthony Rendon more than .5 home runs
We will start this prop with the Yankees bats who will be facing Griffin Canning in this one. Canning has allowed nine home runs to right-handers on the season and has also given up seven home runs on the road in seven starts. Judge has been hot lately as he has three bombs and a .953 OPS over the previous two weeks. He certainly makes sense to add to this prop. LeMahieu has also been raking as he has three bombs and a .905 OPS over the previous two weeks.
Rendon is a bit of a toss-up in this one as he has struggled mightily this season and has just one home run over the previous two weeks, but he is the strongest right-handed bat in this Angels lineup and we have to pick at least one player from each team. This play is more about Yankees' starter, Jordan Montgomery, who has allowed eight home runs to right-handers on the season.

Sean Manaea less than 5.5 strikeouts and Dane Dunning less than 4.5 strikeouts
Manaea is a tough one to gauge but the Rangers have been great in terms of K rate vs. left-handers over the previous month and the previous 10 days. Over the previous month, the Rangers rank fifth-best with a 20% K rate and over the previous 10 days, they rank tops in the league with a rate of just 14.9%. Manaea has reached this total in three of his previous five games but also failed to reach it against teams with a strong K rate against lefties like the Diamondbacks and Angels at the time he faced them.
Oakland has been solid against right-handers over the previous 10 days and has a K rate of just 20.3%, which ranks fifth-best in the league. Dunning has struggled on the road this season and has a 7.45 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 29 innings pitched. This has caused him to fail to reach this total in three of his previous four road starts. Oakland is also posting a 111 wRC+ mark against right-handers over the previous 10 days, which is ranked 12th-best in the league. This could certainly contribute to an early exit from Dunning.
