Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat hitter and pitcher props.

Single Stat MLBP and MLB Totals
Kyle Seager over .5 Runs + RBI - Seager has been hot lately as he is posting a 1.080 OPS with three home runs and eight RBI across his previous 24 at-bats. He will be squaring off against Tampa Bay Rays right-hander, Luis Patino, who has allowed left-handed hitters to post a .294 BAA.
Franmil Reyes over .5 Runs + RBI - Reyes hit this prop for us against left-hander, Robbie Ray, yesterday and could be in another solid spot today against Ryu. Ryu has allowed right-handed hitters to hit 12 bombs and 15 doubles off of him this season. Reyes has lefties to the tune of an .839 OPS this season and he is also posting a 1.135 OPS with three home runs over his previous 24 at-bats.
Patrick Corbin under 4.5 strikeouts - This number is a tad high on Corbin as he has failed to go over this total in his five previous starts. One of these starts was against the Phillies in which he only managed to strike out two batters. The Phillies have also been solid against left-handed pitchers lately as they are posting the best K rate against them over the previous 10 days with a rate of just 11.7% while also posting a wRC+ of 149.
Hyun-Jin Ryu under 5.0 strikeouts - Ryu will be facing the Indians who have been superb against left-handed pitching lately as noted by the fact Robbie Ray only managed to strike out four through six innings pitched in their matchup yesterday. They are posting a K rate of just 19.1% over the previous 10 days, which is ranked ninth-best in baseball. Ryu has also failed to go over this total in all but one start since June 4th.
Wily Peralta over 2.5 strikeouts - This prop could be a bit tight, but Peralta has gone over this total in four of his last six starts and has also hit at least four strikeouts in three of his previous six starts. He will be facing a tough Red Sox offense, but they are also posting a K rate of 24.5% vs. right-handers over the previous 10 days, which ranks ninth-worst in baseball over that span. If this number were to jump to 3.0-3.5, I would likely avoid it, but at 2.5, it makes sense to play the over.
