ANALYSIS: Washington Wizards power forward/center Moritz Wagner returned to action on February 3rd after missing nearly two months with a left ankle sprain. Since his return, he's been slowly eased back into the rotation. He saw over 24 minutes in two straight games this past week before being ejected from Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
Wagner scored 19 points and added nine rebounds while shooting 7-for-11 from the field and hitting a three-pointer in his third game back. He has been efficient from the field all year, shooting 59.1% while averaging 11.3 points per game. He's also shooting 78.6% from the free throw line, which is a solid clip for a center and he's hitting 0.9 threes per game on the year.
Wagner should be added in all leagues of 12 teams or deeper. He should see over 20 minutes per game on a regular basis for the rest of the year and should consistently put up double-digit points while helping in field goal percentage, rebounds and threes.
