NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Thursday, February 24th

The 2021 NBA second-half is underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, February 24.

Single Stat NBA Totals

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Marcus Smart OVER 11.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with Marcus Smart's points prop. Smart has hit this number in just six of his last ten but smashed this number in both matchups against Brooklyn this season, logging 20 and 22 points, respectively. The Nets allow just 0.48 points over league average to point guards, and while Smart could move around a bit with Derrick White being added at the deadline, I'm a fan of this prop and have Smart projected for 12.6 points tonight.

Will Barton OVER 14.5 Points - Barton has been a bit hot and cold lately with his points, but tonight's a good night to be hot. Not only has he (as well as all teams tonight), had a week's rest for the all-star break, he gets a favorable matchup against the Kings tonight who allow 2.75 points over the league average to shooting guards. He's only hit this in six of his last ten games but I don't see that as an issue considering I have him projected for 17.4 points tonight.

Deandre Ayton OVER 10.5 Rebounds - Probably my favorite play of the night, Ayton is in a smash spot for his rebounds prop. The all-star break should have helped rest his lingering ankle injury, and now he draws a solid matchup against the Thunder. The Thunder have allowed 2.12 rebounds over the league average to centers, second-most in the NBA. Ayton hasn't hit this number often of late, but my projections have him smashing this number tonight, grabbing 14.2 boards.

Other Recommendations - DeMar DeRozan OVER 28.5 Points, Saddiq Bey OVER 16.5 Points, Ayo Dosunmu OVER 5.5 Assists, Isaiah Stewart OVER 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
