Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NBA season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, October 18th.

Single Stat NBA Totals
Trae Young OVER 26.5 Points - We have a fun matchup tonight as Luka Doncic and the Mavericks head to Atlanta to take on Trae Young and the Hawks. Trae and the Hawks made an unpredictable playoff run last season, making it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the eventual NBA Finals winner Milwaukee Bucks in six games. Despite Young battling an ankle injury throughout the series, he still managed to average 28 points. I feel like he and Doncic will want to make a fun one, trading blows back and forth. In Young's last 66 games that he played 30 or more minutes, he's hit this number 38 times (58%). I think Trae has been thinking about what could've been had he not got hurt, and he comes out guns blazing for this one.
John Collins OVER 13.5 Points - While I expect Trae and Luka to battle back and forth tonight, I don't want to forget about John Collins. In 81 games last season, Collins was able to score 14 or more points in 50 of them (62%). That rate jumps to 69% when he plays at least 25 minutes, which is under the total of 30 that I have him projected for. I really like this number for him, especially because Vegas has his points prop at 13.5. This gives us the value we need in this play.
Paul George OVER 25.5 Points - The Clippers will be starting this season in Golden State, who took care of the Lakers in LA on opening night. The Clips will be without Kawhi Leonard for most (if not all) of this season, which puts Paul George up front and center in the lead scoring role. In 19 games without Leonard last season, PG hit this number 12 times (63%). The Warriors' tempo and shot creation formed a higher-paced, higher-scoring game against the Clippers' LA counterparts, and I expect the same sort of game script tonight.
Other Recommendations - Kevon Looney OVER 4.5 points, Kristaps Porzingis OVER 1.5 assists, Trae Young OVER 2.5 three-pointers made
Overall recommendation for this play: POWER
