NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Thursday, October 28th

Steph curry NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

The 2021 NBA season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, October 18th.

Single Stat NBA Totals

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Ja Morant OVER 7.5 Assists - We start with Ja Morant as the Grizzlies have the second-leg of a back-to-back against Steph Curry and the Warriors. Morant has had a great start to the season, averaging 30.5 points, five rebounds, and 8.5 assists through the Grizzlies' first four games. I love the assist play tonight, as Ja has been dropping dimes and setting up teammates left and right. He's had at least eight assists in his last three games, with ten assists in each of his last two games.

Stephen Curry OVER 5.5 Rebounds - It's interesting to see Steph grabbing rebounds at the rate he is this season. He averaged just 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2020-2021 season, but through the first four games, that number has jumped to 8.2 rebounds per game. He's hit the over on this number in each game this season, and with the Grizzlies being on a back-to-back, there could be some tired legs slow on the glass, allowing Steph to hit this number.

Lonzo Ball OVER 3 Three-Pointers Made  - What a career arc (no pun intended) Lonzo has had. After being drafted number two overall by the Lakers and having a wonky shooting motion, Lonzo cleaned up his mechanics and is now the point guard for his third team, the undefeated Chicago Bulls. He's averaging 3.3 three-pointers made on the season, hitting three or more in three of four games to start the year. In what should be a back and forth matchup with the surging Knicks, Lonzo will have to knock a few down if the Bulls want to end the night 5-0.

Other Recommendations - Rudy Gobert OVER 14.5 Points, Julius Randle OVER 9.5 Rebounds, Christian Wood OVER 2 Three-Pointers Made, Alex Caruso OVER 2.5 Assists

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
