PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks for Fantasy Basketball - Tuesday, April 19th

The 2021-2022 NBA playoffs are here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat.

For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, April 19th.

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Jarred Vanderbilt OVER 6.5 Rebounds - I'll start tonight's slate off with Jarred Vanderbilt's rebounds prop. While Vanderbilt hasn't been consistent recently, he has hit this number at a 70% clip on the year. Vanderbilt had six rebounds in game one against the Grizzlies, snapping a three-game streak against Memphis where he logged at least seven boards. The Grizzlies rank 14th in power forward efficiency, but they allow 0.3 rebounds over the league average to the position. I have Vanderbilt projected for 7.4 rebounds tonight, and Vegas has this line at -140, so we're getting good value here.

CJ McCollum OVER 4.5 Rebounds - This line feels too low for CJ, who logged eight rebounds in game one of this series. Since joining the Pelicans, he's hit this number in each of his three matchups against the Suns. Phoenix ranks first in point guard efficiency and allows 0.31 rebounds under the league average to the position, however, I'll take the recency bias and game trend here to make my pick. I have McCollum projected at 6.1 rebounds tonight, so I believe we're getting really solid value here.

Trae Young OVER 2.5 Three-Pointers Made - The final prop of the night will be Trae Young's threes prop. While Trae failed to make a three in game one, he did take seven attempts. It's unfortunate that he was cold, but perhaps his line would be higher should he have made a few of them. He has hit this number in eight of his last ten games, as well as three of his last four games against the Heat. Miami ranks fourth in point guard efficiency but allows 0.11 three-pointers made over the league average to point guards. I have Trae projected for 3.3 threes made tonight, and he's going to need to hit them if Atlanta has a chance in this series. Take the value here.

Other Recommendations - Ja Morant OVER 29.5 Points, Jae Crowder OVER 4.5 Rebounds, Herbert Jones OVER 3.5 Rebounds, Jimmy Butler OVER 0.5 Three-Pointers Made

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
