The 2021 NBA season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 23rd. Also, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Miles Bridges OVER 2.5 Assists - I'll start today's props with a pair of Hornets, starting with Bridges. The Hornets are both the highest-scoring team in the league as well as leading the league in points allowed. Bridges has hit this number in four of his last five and eight of his last ten. We have some solid "Vegas value" here as this number is at -162 on sportsbooks as I'm writing this. He gets a middle-of-the-road matchup tonight against Denver who's 16th in small forward efficiency and allows -0.9 assists under average to shooting guards, but my early numbers have Bridges at 3.2 assists tonight.
Terry Rozier OVER 2.5 Assists - Same team, same stat, different player. Scary Terry has hit this number in three of five, six of ten, and at a 62.5% clip on the year. There's some "Vegas value" here as well as this line sits at -160 as I'm typing this. Rozier has played somewhat of a flex point guard/shooting guard role with LaMelo Ball in the game, and Denver comes into this one 21st in point guard efficiency and 16th in shooting guard efficiency. They allow point guards to log +0.8 assists over average and shooting guards +0.5 assists over average, so no matter where Rozier lines up he's in a plus matchup. My early numbers have Rozier logging 3.7 assists tonight.
Donovan Mitchell OVER 26.5 Points - I looked at this prop and raised an eyebrow just because it does feel too high, and my projections somewhat reflect this. I only have Mitchell at 25.6 points tonight as of now, but I can't deny the fact that he's just hitting this number at a consistent rate. He's hit this in four of five and eight of ten and now gets a matchup with Minnesota who comes into this one allowing 108.7 points per game, 20th in the league. Minnesota is short Patrick Beverley, Anthony Edwards, and Josh Okogie, and I can't see De'Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley slowing Spida down here.
Other Recommendations - Rudy Gobert OVER 15.5 Points, Kyle Kuzma OVER 6 Rebounds, Donovan Mitchell OVER 3 Three-Pointers Made
Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
