NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Tuesday, May 3rd

Steph curry NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

The 2021-2022 NBA playoffs are here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat.

For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, May 3rd.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Desmond Bane UNDER 17.5 Points - I'll start tonight's slate off with Desmond Bane's points prop. Bane caught fire in games three through six against Minnesota, a four-game stretch where he averaged 27ppg. However, he scored just nine points in Game 1 against Golden State. In five games against the Warriors this season, Bane has hit this number just twice. I expect the Warriors to continue to shut down Bane for the remainder of this series, and my early projections have Bane scoring 16.4 points tonight, so we're getting good value on this number.

Stephen Curry OVER 37.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists - It's safe to say that Steph is fully healthy again, or at least as healthy as we're going to see him these playoffs, playing at least 36 minutes in each of the Warriors' last three games. He's hit this number in three of his last five games, and despite not hitting this number in Game 1 of this series, I favor him bouncing back and hitting this number tonight. In four games against the Grizzlies this season, Steph has hit this number in three of them. Not to mention, he's logged at least 47 PRA in those three games. I have Curry projected for 41.4 PRA tonight, so we're getting really solid value on this number.

Jayson Tatum OVER 3.5 Three-Pointers Made - The final prop of the night will be Jayson Tatum's three-pointers prop. Tatum has been establishing himself as one of the best two-way players in the league throughout this season, and tonight should be no different as the Celtics look to even the series in Boston. The Bucks play to dominate the interior, and their perimeter defense is among the worst in the league, especially to forwards like Tatum. It shows, too, considering Tatum has hit this number in all four games against Milwaukee this season, including knocking down four threes in Game 1. I have Tatum projected for 3.9 threes tonight, so we're getting good value on this number as well.

Other Recommendations - Andrew Wiggins OVER 14.5 Points, Grayson Allen OVER 11.5 Points, Ja Morant UNDER 9.5 Assists, Klay Thompson UNDER 3.5 Rebounds, Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
