Wednesday is a massive 12-game slate and PrizePicks is slowly getting more and more of their props up, so what we’re working with isn’t ideal, but even this early, there’s plenty to work with. Specifically, there are four games that can’t be missed tonight, three being inter-conference matchups and the last being a matchup between the Chris Paul-less Suns and the contending Miami Heat. Devin Booker is listed as questionable for right now, so keep an eye on his status as the day goes on. As for the other three games, the Detroit Pistons look to keep their winning ways afloat against the struggling Bulls, the surging Celtics led by Jayson Tatum take on the Hornets on the second night of a back-to-back, and with both the Hawks and Bucks all-but guaranteed to make the playoffs, any game between them carries significant weight.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

Jerami Grant OVER 17.5 Points – You aren’t going to use the word consistency when it comes to Jerami Grant’s point production, but attempts are attempts and he’s taking nearly 15 shots a night. The Pistons have won their last three games and are 6-2 over their last eight contests, their best record over any eight-game span this season. The Pistons are beating good teams and their level of play late in games is causing serious problems for teams who haven’t had enough of that experience yet this season. As long as Grant is playing and the Pistons are grooving, he’s going to be the focal point of the offense whether he’s the leading scorer or not. With the Bulls on a five-game losing streak, they’ll need to right the ship soon, but playing against the Pistons will give them false hope if they think Detroit and Grant won’t come out firing like they have been.
Cade Cunningham OVER 5.5 Assists – These two bets clearly go hand-in-hand, and with how well the Pistons are playing, there’s no shortage of upside when it comes to the starters here. Cade Cunningham has been playing more of a scorer’s role lately, but his style revolves around playmaking, whether it’s creating a shot for himself or teammates. Generating assists comes naturally to him and against a defense anchored by Clint Capela and John Collins, he posted 10 assists in an overtime win. Granted, he played 43 minutes, but he shouldn’t need nearly half the minutes to post six assists against a much more susceptible frontcourt.
Monte Morris OVER 4.5 Assists – The Nuggets have been needing support for Nikola Jokic all season and their lack of guard production has been their weakest point. However, that hasn’t been a problem over their last 10 contests and an 9-1 record proves that when Jokic receives any help from his teammates, the Nuggets will stay competitive against any team. Monte Morris’ assist average might not be the most reassuring, but he’s easily the most consistent guard on this team and his ability to actually play defense and contribute on both ends give him upside in favorable matchups like one against the Kings backcourt.
Other Recommendations – Aaron Gordon OVER 14.5 Points, Justin Holiday UNDER 1.5 Assists, Jayson Tatum OVER 6.5 Free Throws Made, Trae Young OVER 26.5 Points
