NBA DFS Prop Picks for Wednesday (1/29/19) - Monkey Knife Fight

Just six games on tonight's slate and James Harden is still listed as questionable after already missing his past two games. Monkey Knife Fight doesn't have props listed for this game, so outside of prop betting, Russell Westbrook is due for a high-ownership, high-usage game. Try to bet around this if you are looking to get in some action for this contest specifically.

Even with the fewer games, there are a ton of options out there to go with and as usual, don't be afraid to take the risk if you tend to notice a trend or a certain player picking up steam. If you have any questions, find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

Editor's Note: Here's a great special offer for all RotoBaller readers from our Monkey Knife Fight friends: New AND Existing Player Bonus. All players receive a 100% matched signup or reload bonus up to $50 with code 'RBNFL19'. Sign up and deposit, and use our prop picks to get off on a winning foot!

Andre Drummond (DET) OVER 48.5 Points

Andre Drummond's status is technically up in the air, but if he's playing, there's no reason he shouldn't post another 20-20 line against the Nets. Jarrett Allen and DeAndre Jordan are average rim protectors, simply because Allen can't use his size as much as he wants to against bigger defenders, and Jordan just doesn't attack shots like that. Earlier this season, Drummond posted 25-20, along with six assists and a few defensive stats. Even if he hasn't owned Brooklyn in the past, this season he's crushed them.

Zach LaVine (CHI) OVER 29.5 Points

Good for Zach LaVine for making this a thing. After scoring 23 last game against the Spurs, but scoring 43 the last time these two teams faces makes me very optimistic about this matchup. The Pacers still won which makes me think they'll resort to the same strategy in letting LaVine try to carry the offense. The Bulls would like to change it up and try to win, but unfortunately they just don't have the consistency elsewhere around the team, and letting LaVine do all the work is just one of their few choices for offense. LaVine ties his second-lowest scoring night over the previous 12 games, but that also came with his lowest usage rate over that span. He should bounce back against a team he has already scored 40 against this season.

Domantas Sabonis (IND) Over 43.5 Points

On the other side of this game, Domantas Sabonis has yet to play in either of the games the Pacers have played against the Bulls this season. If anything, that should worry the Bulls since in both those games they only lost by close to 20. If Sabonis plays, he is going to roam that frontcourt without a care and grab every rebound that comes his way. At first glance I thought the threshold said 48.5 fantasy points and even then I was still fairly confident Sabonis was going to get much closer to 50 fantasy points. For some reason, they could not play him again, so this deserves to be monitored.

Spencer Dinwiddie (BKN) Over 7.5 Assists

A lot of praise should go out to Spencer Dinwiddie for his respectful action and I think he is going to show out this next game as an example. Depending on Kyrie Irving's availability, Dinwiddie's upside increases drastically. Regardless, seven assists seems like a low for him, especially going up against the Pistons backcourt. The line for this game has it set to be a fairly high-scoring game, so make you sure monitor the injuries in this game, but it'll be hard to fade Dinwiddie when it comes to locking in bets before tip-off.

Buddy Hield (SAC) Over 3.5 Three-Pointers Made

Last time I wrote this article, D'Angelo Russell was in Buddy Hield's place and Russell went two-for-seven from deep. Not what we wanted, but we all know this is a totally different case. Even though it was the Timberwolves, there is no way the Kings don't carry that momentum into their next game. They went from playing poorly the whole game, to domianting the fourth quarter and stealing an overtime win, in which Hield scored 42 points and hit nine three's. The one time he's played the Thunder this season he hit five and scored 23 points, so from the math it seems that even on a low scoring night, Hield should be able to hit four or more.
