Bengals @ Chiefs: More or Less Contest
Recommended Prop Pick:
Patrick Mahomes more than 26.5 passing completions and Joe Burrow more than 23.5 passing completions
Mahomes and the Chiefs are almost certainly going to come out passing against a Bengals defense that ranked 10th-best in 2021 in terms of rushing yards allowed to the running back position. Mahomes has completed 27 or more passes in 10 of 19 games this season and has done it in each of his first two playoff games. He is going up against a Bengals defense that allowed the third-most completions to quarterbacks in 2021. They also allowed the fifth-most receptions to running backs in 2021, which should bode well for any dump-offs Mahomes has for Jerick McKinnon.
Joe Burrow has thrown more completions than this total in each of his previous four games, which includes a combined 52 completions in the first two rounds of the playoffs. The Bengals will enter this game as seven-point underdogs, which should lead to some additional passing on their end. The Chiefs have also allowed the 11th-most completions to quarterbacks on the season. Similar to the Bengals, Kansas City is also awful against pass-catching running backs as they allowed the fourth-most receptions to them in 2021, which should help Burrow be able to find Mixon as a check-down option on multiple occasions.

49ers @ Rams: More or Less Contest
Recommended Prop Pick:
Elijah Mitchell more than 74.5 rushing yards and Cam Akers less than 60.5 rushing yards
The 49ers are going to come out and attempt to establish the run in this game. It has been their mentality in both playoff games thus far as Mitchell has carried the ball 44 times for a total of 149 rushing yards. He has gone against this Rams defense twice in 2021 as well and combined for 176 rushing yards on 48 carries while eclipsing this total in both of those games. Last week, Leonard Fournette was quickly able to amass 53 rushing yards, but the Bucs went away from him as they got down big and were forced to pass most of the second half. That should not be the case this week with both of these defenses playing at their peak currently and a spread set at just 3.5 points.
Cam Akers is coming off a rough game in which he carried the ball 24 times for just 48 rushing yards and also fumbled the ball twice, losing both of them in critical moments of the game. It may be a bit tougher for Sean McVay to trust him in this game, especially if Darrell Henderson Jr. suits up for this one as expected. Even if Akers is the feature back in this game, he will be going up against a 49er defense that allowed the seventh-fewest rushing yards to running backs in 2021. In the playoffs, the Niners have also allowed just a combined 3.17 yards per carry in their first two games.
