NFL DFS Prop Picks for Week 7 - Monkey Knife Fight

We're in Week 7 of the NFL season, and our friends at Monkey Knife Fight are offering some of the coolest, and easiest to win, NFL DFS games in the industry.

On MKF, there are no massive tournaments where you have to get ridiculously lucky just to cash. You're just playing against the house, and the dudes at MKF have fallen all over themselves to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

As always, there are a couple of games we can look to target this week including the Cardinals at Giants and Bengals at Jaguars.

Editor's Note: Here's a great special offer for all RotoBaller readers from our Monkey Knife Fight friends: New AND Existing Player Bonus. Cardinals @ Giants

Reception Collection Contest

Recommended Prop Pick: Evan Engram, Golden Tate, and Larry Fitzgerald over 16.5 receptions.

This game has the second-highest total on the board at 50.5 and features two defenses that struggle mightily against the pass. Although Patrick Peterson will be returning to help reinforce the Cardinals secondary, he shouldn't see a lot of time in the slot against Golden Tate. Tate has been targeted 15 times already since being installed into the lineup just two weeks ago. He should see plenty of targets vs this secondary as well.

The Cardinals have been horrific against tight ends this season, allowing a league-worst 46 receptions and 599 receiving yards. I would expect Daniel Jones to get a freshly healthy Evan Engram heavily involved in the passing game early and often. The Giants have allowed the eighth-most (82) receptions to wide receivers this season, so Larry Fitzgerald should be a focal point for the Cardinals. Fitzgerald has quickly become a favorite target of Kyler Murray as he has been targeted over eight times per game and is hauling in nearly six receptions per game.

Cardinals @ Giants

Fantasy Challenge Contest

Recommended Prop Pick: Evan Engram, Saquon Barkley, and Larry Fitzgerald over 56.5 fantasy points.

I am going to head right back to the well on this game because I think it has so much fantasy potential. Vegas feels this way too, having given it a 50.5 total. I mentioned above why I like Engram and Fitzgerald to have solid performances against these respective defenses, but Saquon should also do very well in this game. If you wanted to sub him out above in the reception collection contest for Golden Tate, I could understand that move as well, but I like Tate a little more up there. The Cardinals run defense has been rather awful thus far in 2019. They have allowed 621 rushing yards on 141 carries to the running back position through the first six games. This equates to just over 4.4 yards per carry, which is not where you want to be as a defense. All signs point to Saquon being healthy and receiving a full workload this week, so he should be able to have a monster game vs. this Cardinals Defense.

Bengals @ Jaguars

Over/Under Contest

Recommended Prop Pick: Andy Dalton over 250.5 passing yards and Gardner Minshew under 240.5 passing yards.

The total in this game is relatively low at 44, and I think this is because Jacksonville will look to win this game via ball control. The Bengals have been atrocious against the run this year. They have allowed 759 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to running backs on 150 carries. This averages out to over five yards per carry. Given this information, I fully expect Jacksonville to hand the ball to Leonard Fournette time and time again. I would expect him to have a monster game to the point where Minshew will not need to throw the ball much. In fact, in both of Jacksonville's wins this season, Minshew failed to eclipse the 225-yard mark. He has only gone over this 240 total twice this season, and both came in high-scoring defeats.

The Bengals, on the other hand, should find themselves down early in this game and be forced to throw the ball. The Jaguars have not been as superb against the pass as in prior seasons, either. They have allowed quarterbacks to throw for 1,565 yards through the air in the first six games of the season, which averages out to over 260.8 passing yards per game. Add in the fact that star defensive back Jalen Ramsey was recently traded, and you have a recipe for further success in the Bengals passing game. Dalton has also thrown for 250 yards or more in four of the Bengals six games this season.
