3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers placed cornerbacks Dontae Johnson and K'Waun Williams and running back Raheem Mostert on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Needing a win over the division-rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 18 to lock up a playoff berth (they can also get in with a Saints loss), the 49ers defense could be short-handed in the secondary if both Johnson and Williams aren't able to clear the league's COVID protocols by Sunday. Johnson replaced veteran Josh Norman in the Week 17 win over the Houston Texans and could be in line to start against the Rams if he's eligible to play. The Niners defense/special teams won't be particularly attractive in fantasy against the Rams this weekend, especially if Johnson and Williams are out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
