4 years agoWith the 194th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Lousiana running back Elijah Mitchell. This is the second running back picked by the 49ers in this draft after Ohio State's Trey Sermon in the third round. Mitchell had 41 rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns over his four seasons in college. He can be a solid NFL backup somewhere, but the 49ers backfield just feels too crowded for Mitchell to get much run at this point. Maybe he has some dynasty value for the future, but he's not on the redraft radar right now.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
