49ers Defense Limits Bears Offense To 204 Yards
2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers defense and special teams unit limited the Chicago Bears offense to 204 yards and 19 points. While they did a good job slowing down the Bears offense, they did not add many big plays. They produced just two sacks and one interception. Hence, the strong defensive performance did not score many fantasy points. Big defensive plays are hard to predict from week to week, and the 49ers still have playmaker potential in DE Nick Bosa and young emerging players like SS Talanoa Hufanga and DB Samuel Womack III. Hufanga, who, in his second season, is starting for the first four games in place of the injured Jimmie Ward, had a breakout game, making 11 tackles and an interception.
