2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that the team hasn't begun contract talks with defensive end Nick Bosa yet. However, Shanahan said that he expects Bosa to remain with the Niners for a long time. Bosa was at the team's facilities on Monday, which is a sign that he'll be present for the mandatory minicamp this week. The Pro Bowl pass-rusher didn't attend voluntary organized team activities, but it sounds like both sides aren't in a rush to get something done. The 24-year-old had a career-high 15.5 sacks last year, adding 52 tackles (40 solo), a league-leading 21 tackles for loss, 32 QB hits and four forced fumbles in 17 games.
