2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers appear likely to have defensive end Dee Ford and linebacker Dre Greenlaw back on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. This is big news for a 49ers defense that has been playing short-handed for much of the season. The return of Greenlaw should help in the 49ers run defense against Dalvin Cook, but Ford being able to play would be a big boost to a pass rush that needs to be pressure on Kirk Cousins in order to disrupt this strong Vikings offense. This doesn't put us off of Vikings players in season-long leagues, but it is important for planning ahead that this 49ers defense is getting healthy and may start to surge at the end of the season.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
