7 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers traded up to select Washington wide receiver Dante Pettis with the No. 44 overall pick of the 2018 NFL draft on Friday. Pettis doesn't have a ton of upside at the wideout position in the NFL, but he had a college record of nine touchdowns for punt returns, with four coming in 2017. Pettis must get stronger but could challenge Trent Taylor immediately in the slot in an up-and-coming offense led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
