2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers are in search of more depth at the running back position. They recently lost Elijah Mitchell (knee) who is expected to miss roughly two months of action. That being said, the 49ers want to add some depth behind Jeff Wilson Jr. on their roster. On Tuesday, they worked out Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Nate McCrary, Abram Smith, La'Mical Perine, Godwin Igwebuike, and Marlon Mack. Whoever does win the job could have some low-end value while Mitchell recovers. Fantasy managers will have to check back after the 49ers decide which back they want to sign.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
