2 years agoA.J. Allmendinger already has had success this weekend at Austin. He won the Xfinity race on Saturday. The key was how the Kaulig Racing driver managed his restarts. The funnier thing is he did the same thing last year en route to a win at Indianapolis. Can he do it again on Sunday? This time, the No. 16 Chevy has a bit more work to do. Allmendinger starts from the 20th position. However, it does seem anyone starting in the 11-22 range has a shot as the race transitions into a longer-run type of scenario. That should favor Allmendinger. He will be one to watch out for as he manages a road car better than most anyone.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
