4 years agoA.J. Allmendinger will run the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Daytona road course this season for Kaulig Racing. Allmendinger is running the full Xfinity season for the team already and will get the nod for Kaulig's first Cup race ever at a non-superspeedway. A skilled road racer who has a Cup Series win at Watkins Glen, Allmendinger could challenge for a top 10 as long as Kaulig has enough speed. There's also a good chance we see the veteran driver more than once this year in this 16 car, as the series has a road-course heavy schedule.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
