A.J. Brown Poised For Big Year
2 years agoESPN's Dan Graziano wouldn't be surprised if Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown goes over the 1,000-yard mark in his first season in Philly. The Eagles haven't had a receiver go over 1,000 yards since Jeremy Maclin in 2014, and they ranked second in rushing attempts and first in rushing yards in 2021. No team attempted fewer passes than the Eagles' 494, but they traded for Brown for a reason and are expected to throw more this year. Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts already have a strong friendship and connection on the field, so if Hurts continues to develop as a passer, Brown should clear the 1,000-yard mark easily. The 25-year-old has posted 1,000-yard seasons in two of his three NFL seasons, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise. He's a low-end WR1 in fantasy.
