A.J. Brown Removes Tennessee From Twitter Bio
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has removed references to his team on his Twitter bio. He has also put out some cryptic but clearly agitated statements in recent days. Whether these statements are directed at the organization or at the public is open to interpretation. With slights on social media suddenly becoming a power move in contract negotiations, this is yet another red flag for the 24-year-old to remain in Tennessee. The Titans began their voluntary offseason program on Monday, which Brown notably declined to participate in. Brown is one of the hottest commodities at his position given his physical dominance and age. His 2021 season was hampered by a chest injury and the absence of running back Derrick Henry. However, he began his promising career with 19 receiving touchdowns over his first two seasons, topping 1,000 yards in each of them. That is the perceived value that will set his asking price in any potential trade, as well as any subsequent long-term contract.
