A.J. Green Could Have Significant Role In Week 1

2 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver A.J. Green could be in line for some meaningful targets in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. With Zach Ertz's (calf) and Rondale Moore's (hamstring) statuses up in the air for Sunday, Green could potentially slot in as the No. 2 wide receiver behind Marquise Brown in this one. The veteran was able to have somewhat of a bounce-back season in 2021, as he put up 54 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns. The matchup to begin the season comes against a defense that allowed the sixth-most passing yards last season, so Green could offer some FLEX appeal in deeper formats if Ertz and Moore are to be ruled out.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
