7 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, who is now 30 and is the oldest receiver on the team by six years, said he still has a lot left in the tank. “I ain’t an old man,” Green said. “I've always got juice. I've had it for a long time. I'm not going anywhere any time soon.” Green says he wants to play through age 36. The veteran wideout remains the focal point of this offense, and he even has a bit of a chip on his shoulder after somewhat of an off year in 2017. Green has never reached 100 receptions in a season, been an All Pro or led the league in any receiving category. Since 2000, only 11 receivers have put up a year with 90 catches, 1,000 yards, averaged 80 yards per game and scored seven touchdowns at the age of 30 or older. The reality is Green is still a great receiver, but he needs more help around him to take some of the double teams away. He had a weak season for his standards last year but still managed 1,000 yards for the sixth time. Green should be a second-round pick as a low-end WR1 with a chance to improve on his numbers from last year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
