A.J. Minter Shuts Down Mets For Fourth Save
2 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher A.J. Minter appears to have established himself as the primary closer with Kenley Jansen (heart) on the injured list. Minter received his third consecutive save opportunity Tuesday, shutting down the New York Mets in order with one strikeout to earn his fourth save of the season. Minter now has a sparkling 1.66 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with 50 strikeouts in 38 innings, and he's well worth an add in all fantasy formats for as long as Jansen is out of commission.
