A.J. Pollock, David Freese To Face Live Pitching Sunday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock and first baseman David Freese are set to face live pitching Sunday as they both work their way back from injury. Pollock has been out since April 30 with an elbow infection while Freese has been sidelined for just a week with a hamstring strain. Freese likely won't need many reps before returning to the Dodgers roster as soon as this week, but Pollock will need more seasoning with rehab assignments and won't be back until after the All-Star Game. Neither are worth scooping up for fantasy purposes outside of NL-only leagues, but Pollock may be worth grabbing when we get a firmer timetable upon his return.
