A.J. Pollock Goes 0-for-4 With Three Strikeouts, Leaving Two On-Base in Game Two Loss
5 years agoPollock was terrible tonight. Especially for a guy that’s in the middle of the order to make contact and move the runners over. He couldn’t do anything against Strasburg, finishing the night 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and a few runners stranded. They’ll need Pollock to be his consistent-self if the Dodgers want any chance of moving on in the playoffs. He gets pitches to hit sandwiched between Bellinger and Turner, so there’s no reason for Pollock to be this bad. He’ll have an opportunity to bounce back in game three against Max Scherzer on Sunday night.
