5 years agoOakland Athletics pitching prospect A.J. Puk will pitch for Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday and could soon be called up to the big leagues. The 24-year-old left-hander underwent Tommy John surgery in 2018 but remains a consensus top-100 prospect. He is 4-1 with a 4.70 ERA in 23 2/3 innings at three levels this season, but has also struck out 35 out of 98 batters faced while walking 10. In redraft leagues he will be a wait-and-see when called up, but in deeper keepers or dynasty leagues it's time for him to find a roster, if he isn't on one already.--Nathaniel Green
