3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back A.J. Rose Jr. carried the ball 25 time for 100 yards and added 18 receiving yards in the Vikings first preseason game of the year against the Broncos. The Kentucky product provided most of the offense on a day when the Vikings passed for only 84 team yards and Rose ran hard between the tackles. He is fighting for the RB3 job behind Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison, both of whom did not suit up for this game. Rose needed a high volume of carries to get to 100 yards but his performance certainly opens up more opportunities heading into the team's next preseason matchup.--Joey C - RotoBaller
