Aaron Ashby Dealing With Forearm Tightness
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (forearm) left his start early as a precaution on Thursday against the New York Mets with forearm tightness, according to the team. Ashby appeared to be making a case to stay in the game before he walked off with a trainer, and his velocity remained normal in his fifth and final inning. The 24-year-old allowed four runs on four hits while walking three and striking out five in 4 1/3 innings before departing, but it sounds like the injury might not be too serious. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Ashby entered the day with a 3.91 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, 62 strikeouts and 23 walks in 50 2/3 innings over 13 outings (seven starts) for the Brewers in 2022.
