2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Aaron Ashby was torched on Friday, allowing six runs on eight hits over his five innings of work in an 8-7 loss against the Chicago Cubs. Ashby struck out eight and didn't walk a batter, which is a good sign for the young lefty considering his struggles with control, but the results still weren't there for him in this one. Ashby certainly has the stuff to be a major asset to both the Brewers and fantasy managers, but hasn't quite been able to put it together for long stretches of time this season. He now owns a 2-10 record to go along with a 4.58 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 116 strikeouts over 96 ⅓ IP. He simply can't be trusted right now in any format, but remains a strong dynasty asset. He is a clear sit next week, as he takes on the Dodgers.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
