2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (forearm) threw a bullpen session at Tropicana Field on Wednesday, and everything went well. It's unclear if Ashby will make his next appearance in a game for the Brewers, so stay tuned for more information. The 24-year-old southpaw has been on the injured list since June 17 with forearm inflammation, but his injury isn't considered all that serious. Ashby will be a bit more risky in his first start back, but that could be a mute point if he's able to return to the rotation next week to face the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 14 appearances (eight starts), Ashby has gone 1-5 with a 4.25 ERA, a 1.45 WHIP, 67 strikeouts and 26 walks in 55 innings pitched for the Brew Crew.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
