4 years agoChicago White Sox left-handed pitchers Aaron Bummer (biceps) and Carlos Rodon (shoulder) were both activated off of the injured list prior to Thursday’s contest versus Cleveland. Bummer has been a crucial cog in the Chicago bullpen over the last two years, having allowed just one run with 12 strikeouts in 7 ⅓ IP this year. Rodon hasn’t pitched since Aug. 3, having been hit hard (6 ER in 5 ⅔ IP) in his two starts. Bummer undoubtedly holds more fantasy intrigue over the final few days of the regular season, both as a holds candidate and a general strikeout/ERA/WHIP contributor in roto formats.--Jesse Borek
