3 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Aaron Bummer picked up his first save in his fifth opportunity in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader versus the Cleveland Indians. Bummer got the opportunity with closer Liam Hendriks being rested after throwing three innings over the last two days. The lefty opened the inning by allowing a walk to Owen Miller, but got Josh Naylor to ground into a double play and then sealed the deal by striking out Yu Chang. Bummer failed in his first four save chances entering Monday, but was able to shut the door in this contest. Save chances should be few and far between with Liam Hendriks being one of the best closers in the league, but Bummer is worth a look in leagues that count holds.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
