Aaron Civale Departs Early With Wrist Soreness
2 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Aaron Civale (wrist) left his start early on Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox due to right wrist soreness. Civale only made it through one scoreless inning, allowing two hits while walking none and striking out one batter. It's unknown if this injury will keep the 27-year-old right-hander from taking his first turn in the rotation to begin the second half of the season, but we'll update you when we have more information. Civale hasn't been of much use in fantasy in 2022, as he entered Wednesday's start with a 2-5 record, 6.28 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, 51 strikeouts and 15 walks in 53 innings pitched over his 11 starts.
