Aaron Civale Goes Seven Strong
2 years agoCleveland Guardians starting pitcher Aaron Civale through seven strong innings Friday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks to the Kansas City Royals. He struck out six batters and was left with a no-decision in the contest. This is perhaps Civale's best start of the season in what has been a difficult campaign for the 27-year-old. Civale has recorded a career-worst 6.28 ERA and 1.45 WHIP through 11 starts and 53 innings. Fantasy managers can keep an eye on Civale, but he's no more than a desperation fill-in in strong matchups at this point.
