Aaron Civale To Throw Simulated Game
3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Aaron Civale (finger) is expected to throw a two-inning simulated game on Tuesday, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports. Civale has been out since June 24 with a sprained middle finger, and this will be his first time pitching in game action since his injury. His return to the Indians will most likely come in late August. Civale was having a solid year for the Indians, posting a 3.32 ERA and a 10-2 record across 15 starts. However, his strikeout numbers aren't as high as fantasy managers would want, with a 19.8 K%. Still, he is a good fantasy pitcher in every format and should continue to be once he's back.
