4 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Aaron Dell will make his second appearance of the season in Tuesday's clash with the Islanders. He lost his season debut on Feb. 21 against Minnesota 4-3 despite producing 37 saves. Dell has been a solid backup throughout his career, putting together a 48-35-12 record with a 2.77 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and five shutouts. Improving the record on Tuesday will be difficult, though, as the Devils will be missing Nico Hischier (upper body) for a second straight game and Dell will face Semyon Varlamov in the opposite crease. The Russian goalie has been among the best netminders in the league this season with a 9-4-3 record, a 2.17 goals-against average, a .924 save percentage, and three shutouts.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
