Aaron Donald Doesn't Plan To Hold Out Again
7 years agoLos Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who could win Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, said he doesn't plan to hold out for the second season in a row as he seeks a contract extension. Donald sat out all last summer before missing Week 1 of the regular season. He played in just 14 games in 2017 but still tied his career high with 11 sacks and recorded an NFL-high 91 quarterback pressures, according to Pro Football Focus. Donald will be under contract for $6.89 million in 2018, but he would delay his free agency by a year if he doesn't report a month before the start of the regular season. Donald has been arguably the best all-around defensive player in the league the last two seasons and will be a highly coveted IDP player again in 2018.
