5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks hit a three-run home run in the first inning of the team's 4-1 win over the Astros in Game 5 of the ALCS. With the Yankees facing elimination, the offense came out swinging. A leadoff home run by DJ LeMahieu was backed up by a three-run laser from Hicks that hit the foul pole for an early 4-0 lead. Hicks is seeing the ball well at the plate right now and is 2-for-6 with one home run, two walks and three runs batted in over his last two playoff games.
