6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks laced a walk-off double Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles to clinch his team a Wild Card spot. Hicks finished the evening 2-for-5 and also cracked his 26th homer. The streaky switch-hitter is now riding a six-game hitting streak, batting .375 (9-for-24) with five extra-base hits. Hicks also escaped an injury scare when he fouled a ball off his foot, with x-rays coming back negative.
